Soon projected on the big screen at the Lumière festival for its French premiere, (Re)Assignment, the new film by Walter Hill, a.k.a. the high priest of action flicks (who also has it on his mind), begins to generate some serious chatter in the United States.
The highly influential Hollywood Reporter has just churned out a glowing review of this tautly wound thriller, which pits Frank, a hitman (Michelle Rodriguez), against a surgeon (Sigourney Weaver). The doctor, wanting to avenge the murder of her brother, unbeknownst to Frank, performs full gender-reassignment surgery.
